While the Grand Rex in Paris is organizing a philharmonic concert in tribute to the legendary Japanese composer, Paris La Défense Arena will be welcoming fans of the conductor on Saturday April 6 and Sunday April 7, 2024 for two exclusive symphonic concerts conducted by Joe Hisaishi! Unique in France, these two musical shows will plunge spectators into the fascinating world of Hayao Miyazaki's Studio Ghibli films.

For these two symphonic concerts at Paris La Défense Arena, Joe Hisaishi, now 73, will conduct the 250 musicians and choristers of London's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. They will perform the composer's greatest themes before your very eyes, including those from " Princess Mononoké ", " My Neighbor Totoro ", " Castle in the Sky " and " Chihiro's Journey "... Masterpieces of Japanese animation directed by Hayao Miyazaki, co-founder of Studio Ghibli with Isao Takahata.
