Fans of The Rolling Stones are in the starting-blocks! On October 20, 2023, the legendary British rock band is due to release its long-awaited new opus. Called "Hackney Diamonds", this opus - the band's 24th studio album and their first studio album in 18 years - was written and composed by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ron Wood, and recorded between Los Angeles, London, New York and Nassau, Bahamas. "Hackney Diamonds" also marks the Rolling Stones ' first collaboration with producer and musician Andrew Watt, known for his work with Pearl Jam and Iggy Pop.
To mark the occasion, Fnac has announced the opening of a traveling pop-up store dedicated to the Rolling Stones. From October 20 to December 31, 2023, this ephemeral boutique will take over no fewer than four Fnac stores in France.
In detail, this pop-up store dedicated to the Rolling Stones will first stop at Fnac du Forum des Halles in Paris from October 20 to November 2. It will then head to Fnac Lyon (November 10 to 24), then Bordeaux (November 25 to December 13), before returning to Paris from December 15 to 31, 2023 at Fnac des Ternes, in the 17th arrondissement.
So, what can we expect? In the colors of the legendary British band, this traveling pop-up store will offer fans a rock'n'roll experience with a host of products, some of them exclusive!
These include special editions of the"Hackney Diamonds" album in Box CD collector and vinyl formats. Fnac will also be unveiling exclusive editions for France and worldwide, as well as maxi 45s.
And that's not all, as the pop-up store will also feature " exclusive merchandising highlighting the city in which the pop-up is set up ", says Fnac, including t-shirts, tote bags and lithographs. Sweaters, caps, hats and water bottles bearing the band's logo will also be available.
So, are you ready to celebrate the release of"Hackney Diamonds", the new album by The Rolling Stones? In Paris, head for the Fnac du Forum des Halles and then the Fnac des Ternes to take advantage of this itinerant pop-up store.
