Once again, France 2 is celebrating the arrival of the New Year! On Sunday December 31 , 2023, France Télévisions is joining forces with the City of Paris to offer " La Grande Soirée du 31 de Paris ", a " popular and festive" New Year's Eve event broadcast live from the Champs Élysées. Following in the footsteps of Chantilly, Versailles and Fontainebleau, France 2 has chosen the most beautiful avenue in the world for a unique evening.
Starting at 9:10pm, France 2 will gradually turn up the heat. Stéphane Bern will be at the helm, accompanied by several other France Télévisions presenters. Together, they'll treat viewers to a variety of performances, including karaoke, a giant wave and a group dance.
But that's not all, as the show will also feature a number of stage and musical performances. Pre-recorded or live, these performances will be followed from several of the capital's most emblematic locations. The line-up includes Grand Corps Malade, Gazo, Pierre de Maere, Vitaa, Santa, Patrick Bruel, Nuit Incolore and Junior Eurovision winner Zoé Clauzure.
Viewers will also be able to catch up with dancers from the Moulin Rouge and Paradis Latin, as well as the famous circus companies Phoenix and Folies Gruss, not to mention a number of great musicals.
To top it all off, FrenchEurovision 2024 candidate Slimane will perform at the foot of theArc de Triomphe to ring in the New Year. The evening will conclude with a video mapping show projected onto the legendary Parisian monument, followed by the traditional fireworks display.
