Hypnotic power and sensual sweetness! This Tuesday, June 4, 2024, the talented American artist Chelsea Wolfe was in concert in Paris as part of her European tour. Let's take a look back at this intoxicating show, marked by magnificent arrangements and an enchanting voice.

In the midst of her European tour, Chelsea Wolfe was in Paris on Tuesday June 4, 2024. The American artist chose to take over theÉlysée Montmartre venue in the capital's 18th arrondissement to perform compositions from her sublime latest album, but that's not all. Entitled"She Reaches Out to She Reaches Out to She", this album follows"Birth of Violence", released in 2019. Prior to this, the California-born artist had already released 5 other albums, between 2010 and 2017. Yes, the singer and musician blending doom metal, gothic rock, electro and folk sounds, is of the prolific kind. Live, Chelsea Wolfe excels and bewitches. This is what we witnessed on June 4, 2024 at her only Parisian concert at L'Elysée Montmartre.

Announced for 9pm, it was finally 10 minutes early that the artist took to the stage, surrounded by her three musicians. The audience was packed to the rafters with metal fans. Mostly black outfits and t-shirts bearing the Hellfest logo (the festival the artist is due to attend at the end of June) are out in force.

Also dressed all in black, Chelsea Wolfe slowly steps up to the microphone to thunderous applause, before beginning her bewitching mass with the beautiful " Whispers in the Echo Chamber ". The artist continues the exploration of his latest opus with the powerful " Everything Turns Blue ", " House of Self-Undoing " and " Tunnel Lights ". With these four tracks, blending violence and gentleness, darkness and brilliance, Chelsea Wolfe immediately draws us into her tortured, dark, yet incredibly fascinating and soothing universe.

There are, of course, the melodies, which start calmly and build to a thunderous, soaring explosion. And then there's the voice, powerful and sensual at once, and disconcertingly accurate live. Sometimes whispering, sometimes screaming her rage and distress, Chelsea Wolfe is the kind of artist capable of raising the hairs on your arms just after you've wildly moved your head and body uncontrollably, as on the incredible " 16 Psyche " and " The Culling ".

While Chelsea Wolfe touches our hearts with the touching " Place In The Sun ", the artist and musician bewitches us even more with the intoxicating " Dusk " followed by " The Liminal " played acoustically. Incredibly beautiful. A discreet type, the artist waited until the end of the show before addressing the audience, thanking them for their presence and asking if everything was going well.

And it was solo, acoustic guitar under her arm, that Chelsea Wolfe decided to return to the stage for an encore of just one track. After a set of around 1h30, the artist chose to move us once again with her sublime rendition of " Be All Things ".
