This summer, AC/DC are coming to Paris for a one-off concert as part of their"Power Up Tour". As you might expect, tickets for the Australian-British band's only French date sold out in just a few hours. It has to be said thatAC/DC fans have been waiting a long time for this comeback.AC/DC 's last Paris concert dates back to 2016. Back then, the hard rock band set the Stade de France alight. This summer, AC/DC will be moving to theHippodrome ParisLongchamp on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, for a concert expected to attract some 80,000 spectators!
An opportunity for fans of the Australian-British band to discover live tracks from their latest opus, released in 2020. Entitled"Power Up", this 17th studio album follows on from"Rock or Bust", released six years earlier.
But this huge AC/DC concert at theHipprodrome Paris-Longchamp will also be an opportunity to (re)discover live some timeless hits, such as " Back in Black ", " Thunderstruck ", " Hells Bells " and " Highway to Hell ".
So when are the gates to theHippodrome Paris-Longchamp due to open? When should the show start? Is there an opening act? Gérard Drouot Productions has announced the creation of a dedicated mobile application where you can find all the practical and useful information (times, site map, transport...) to best prepare your visit.
First of all, concerning tickets, the application specifies that no tickets will be available for download on the platform. Tickets will be available from August 5. An email will be sent to spectators, detailing all the information needed to get to the event.
As for the rest, theHippodrome Paris-Longchamp will open its gates to the general public from 2pm, while the concert area will be accessible from 4:30pm. The show kicks off at 7:00 pm, with an opening act followed by AC/DC taking to the stage at 8:30 pm. The legendary hard rock band's concert is scheduled to last 2h30.

There are several ways to get to the Hippodrome Paris-Longchamp site, starting with public transport (metro, bus and streetcar).
For the occasion, the organizer is providing free shuttles to and from the site. These shuttles run to and from Porte Maillot (exit N°6 boulevard André Maurois) from 2pm to 1.15am. The journey takes 7 minutes, followed by a 3-minute walk to the Maillot Sèvres public access. In view of the number of people expected to use these shuttles, we advise you to consider an alternative route.
A temporary Vélib' station is planned at the Boulogne access point (4 route de Sèvres in Neuilly, in the 16th arrondissement).
For those planning to come by car, you can reserve a space in one of our partner parking lots (Indigo, QPark or Saemes). These parking lots are located on the outskirts of the site, and can be reached in 15 to 60 minutes on foot, depending on the parking lot.
The map available on theapplication shows several possible access points: public access - Boulogne Espérance, public access - Boulogne Sèvres Neuilly, public access - Maillot Espérance and public access - Maillot Sèvres.
Outside the site, spectators will have access to a locker where they can leave any prohibited or bulky items. On site, several areas will be available, including a food and beverage area, a merchandising stand not far from the entrance/exit, a cashless bank and, of course, toilets.
