Two years after"The Circle", Yodelice is back in the music news with"What's The Cure? To be released on October 18, 2024, this new and 5th album by the artist reveals rock influences carried by sixties guitars and electro sounds. It's a tasty mix to which Maxim Nucci, aka Yodelice, had not previously been accustomed.
A quick reminder: in 2009, Yodelice released their first album,"Tree of Life", to great acclaim (gold disc, then platinum disc). This was followed by"Cardioid" in 2010 and"Square Eyes" in 2013, before taking a 9-year break. In 2022, Yodelice marks its comeback with a poetic, introspective fourth album,"The Circle".
This autumn, the singer-songwriter, musician and producer brings us"What's the Cure? The proof is in the form of the single " Let Us Never Hit The Ground ".
Before hitting the road again, Yodelice decided to celebrate the release of"What's the Cure?" with a rather original release party.
On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, Yodelice will be performing some of his new songs solo at the Galerie Ellia on Rue de Turenne in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris.
The 30-minute private concert will be accompanied by an ephemeral installation featuring photos by Yann Orhan and previously unseen videos. Occupying 500 m² of the Paris gallery, the exhibition will reveal more about the world that illustrates the project, the real and fantasized setting of Yodelice's new album.
Please note that this " Yodelice & Yann Orhan " installation will be open to the public at Galerie Ellia on October 15 from 12pm to 6pm. Then, from 7pm, we'll open the doors for a private preview, with an exclusive solo performance by Maxim Nucci, aka Yodelice, scheduled for around 9pm.
