After setting Hellfest alight in 2024, the girls from Babymetal are about to make their return to France! The now-famous Japanese kawaii metal band has announced a European tour, stopping off at Le Zénith in Paris on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. In addition to the French capital, Babymetal will be stopping off in Brussels, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Berlin, Madrid, Barcelona and London. A total of 12 concerts are scheduled between May 10 and 30, 2025.
On the ticketing front, Babymetal is announcing a pre-sale available from October 23 (from 10am). Go to this link to obtain an access code. Otherwise, a Veryshow Productions pre-sale is available from Thursday October 24 at 10am. The general on-sale date is Friday, October 25 at 10am.
For those less familiar with the band, Babymetal was formed in 2010. A kawaii metal band that blends J-Pop and heavy metal, Babymetal is made up of Suzuka " Su-metal " Nakamoto (vocals, dance), Moa " Moametal " Kikuchi (dance, scream) and Momoko " Momometal " Okazaki (dance, scream).
The band's YouTube video,"Doki Doki Morning", has now racked up over 31 million views. Having caused a sensation at home in Japan, the Babymetal girls are now creating a buzz in the USA, South America, Europe and Asia. To date, the Japanese group has released four albums, the latest of which is entitled"The Other One". It includes the single " Metal Kingdom ".
Live, Babymetal combines vocals, screams and kawaii dancing, giving fans a powerful yet quirky performance.
For this new European tour, the Babymetal girls won't be alone on stage, as they invite American artist Poppy and Irish artist Bambie Thug, Ireland's representative at Eurovision 2024.
