Tens of millions of tourists every year, and thousands of different landscapes to discover: France is a real paradise for travelers. Mountains or ocean, endless fields and age-old cities, wild forests or exceptional castles... There is something for everyone! This richness has inspired artists like Loïc Lagarde, the French photographer who has traveled the roads of France, looking for the most beautiful corners of this Hexagon.
The artist shares his findings with us through a new photo exhibition presented in the alleys of Bercy Village, from January 19 to May 15, 2023. More than thirty pictures are unveiled in this exhibition entitled Planet France, accessible for free to all walkers.
Armed with his camera, Loïc Lagarde has immortalized the most famous monuments and sites in France, such as Mont-Saint-Michel, the Gorges du Verdon, the Eiffel Tower, the Fort Médoc... But he is just as passionate about the beauty of more common, more surprising or less known places. Through his eyes, we can see all the splendor of a lavender field in bloom, of a river that winds through the woods, of a singular house that stands out in the middle of a city.
With Planète France, we can make our own Tour de France, without leaving the capital! And if the artist's photos inspire us enough to make us want to travel and discover, we know that the train station is nearby...
