The FrenchNational Assembly is opening its doors to the general public on Saturday June 3 and Sunday June 4 : an opportunity to discover this exceptional building, both in terms of its architecture and its importance in French political life.
This open house weekend is part of President Yaël Braun-Pivet's initiative to open up the FrenchNational Assembly to the general public. It's the perfect time to visit the Palais Bourbon, just a stone's throw from the banks of the Seine in Paris' 7th arrondissement. Enter theHemicycle, where legislation is debated, discover theimmense library, access the colonnade, whose restoration has just been completed... During your visit, you can download an audioguide online, with a children's version also available, to get all the explanations you need to understand the history of the Palais Bourbon!
The good news is that the Palais Bourbon will be exceptionally open until 10 p.m. on Saturday evening for the Nuit Blanche (opening at midday in the morning). On Sunday, you can attend this open house weekend from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.: admission is free, all you have to do is register online.
