Let's discover this space located on the historic site of the Curie campus. Just a stone's throw from the Panthéon, where Pierre and Marie Curie have been laid to rest since 1995, the Musée Curie is much more than just a museum. It tells the story of the discovery of radioactivity, of its medical applications in radiotherapy, and of a family that has won five Nobel Prizes.
The site was once theRadium Institute, inaugurated in 1914. It consisted of two pavilions: the Pasteur Pavilion and the Curie Pavilion. If you decide to stop off here, it's to relive the history of science and its major discoveries. At the heart of the museum are Marie Curie's office and personal laboratory, intact testimonies to her work.
The garden: A haven of peace created by Marie Curie for the relaxation of her colleagues. Today, it's an exhibition space featuring portraits of the Curie family by street artist C215.
When you walk through the museum, the atmosphere envelops you and transports you back in time. It's a real immersion in the world of research, discovery and commitment. If you want to give your cultural outing a real meaning, the Musée Curie is an unmissable stopover, a memorable experience to share.
The Musée Curie is also a unique experience, free for all. So don't miss this opportunity to walk in the footsteps of a great lady of science. The museum is open Tuesday to Saturday, 1pm to 5pm.
