Head for the Joséphine Baker swimming pool-peniche, for an exhibition of sculptures, from March 1 to 17, 2024! Récréa Group, which manages five Parisian swimming pools, is offering events combining art and sport for the Games, here in a venue that will have a front-row seat for the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. In partnership with sculptor François Pernette, some thirty hundred-year-old boxwood sculptures are being installed in the pool!

The aim of the exhibition is to create a dialogue between the moving bodies of the swimmers and the sculptures, playing with light and reflections on the water. François Pernette, who has given birth to imaginary characters sculpted from noble woods, hopes to generate emotions in visitors through encounters. You can meet him in his studio every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 7pm, where he will create his next works live and answer your questions.
And it's all free! And why not take the opportunity to swim a few lengths in one of the capital's most beautiful pools?
