Are you familiar with microarchitecture? How can you build efficiently in a small space, in overcrowded cities? Since 2003, the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine has organized a competition in which students can work on a social theme, linked to current events or concerns, to see their ideas exhibited in the Paris museum. With the Paris 2024 Olympic Games just a few months away, the ninth edition of the competition focused on nomadic microarchitecture, with the creation of a mini fan zone that can be easily moved around!
The device is designed to help create links between neighbors to experience this unique moment, between sport, culture and conviviality, outside venues accessible only with a ticket, and therefore to the whole population. The four winners will have the chance to see their ideas put into practice, and deployed during the competition this summer, in Saint-Denis and the surrounding region! Sport has always invited itself into small spaces and circulated around cities, like a marathon, street soccer or even a boxing match!
All that's left is for you to discover them in detail in the exhibition!
