The nude is on show at Galerie La Lison! From May 23 to June 14, 2024, the Parisian art gallery opens its doors to a new group show, entitled Nude Skin. The vernissage, scheduled for Thursday May 23 at 7.30pm, promises to be a powerful moment, free and open to all. Come and discover a delicate and profound exploration of the intimate, where nudity is revealed without censorship or taboo.
A true immersion in the vulnerability and beauty of the human body! Bringing together the work of six talented photographers - Amanda Rougier, David Wilk, Élodie Poirier, yko, Féebrile and Philipp Chekler - theexhibition offers a journey to the heart of nudity and the soul. Each photograph is a naked statement, an invitation to cross the boundaries of modesty and embrace the truth of being. In an age when the boundaries of art are constantly being pushed back, Nude Skin makes a statement against prejudice and inhibition.
This exhibition is part of The Analog Festival, an event born in Nantes in 2013 under the nameExpolaroid, which celebrates instant photography. In over a decade of existence, this festival has evolved to include a diversity of photographic practices, regardless of the brand of equipment used. Galerie La Lison, with its bold theme of nudity, embraces this tradition by presenting works exploiting mixed instant photography techniques: small and large formats, backlit or resin-cast shots.
The Nude Skin exhibition invites you to an intimate encounter with humanity in all its natural splendor. Beyond the images, a genuine reflection on beauty, natural grace and equality awaits you. An opportunity to discover the power and poetry of nudity through the eyes of six passionate photographers!
