Created in 1976, the René-Binet garden is named after a 19th-century French architect who was responsible for rebuilding the Printemps de la Mode stores in 1907. Situated right between Porte de Montmartre and Porte de Saint-Ouen, in the 18th arrondissement, the garden offers a green break for a short stroll or a picnic on the grass in fine weather.
Covering an area of almost one hectare, the René-Binet garden has been designed with a large central lawn - ideal for spending an afternoon reading in the sun - encircled by flower beds. The highlight of the stroll, however, is thehuge play area set up for children, with a large boat and a wooden castle to climb, explore and slide down... There's also a small educational farm on site, with dwarf goats, Ouessant sheep, rabbits, chickens and turkeys, which you can spot on your walk!
The René-Binet garden is open every day, all year round, from 8 a.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. on weekends and public holidays. Closing times vary according to season and month. The park's paths are accessible to people with reduced mobility and baby carriages. To continue your stroll, simply cross the street to Square Marcel Sembat. Enjoy your stroll through the René-Binet garden!
