We take refuge here during lunch breaks with colleagues (when the weather's fine, of course), after school in the late afternoon or all day long, to get away from the capital's very concrete appearance in places: Square Sainte-Odile is one of those little Parisian oases, a secret garden where we like to go when we live in the neighborhood, so why not visit it?
Created in 1976, the square is located next to the church of Sainte-Odile, a must-see in the Pereire district of the 17th arrondissement, with its neo-Byzantine architecture and striking exterior cupola. The small park features several remarkable trees: plane trees, a beautiful weeping cedar, Austrian black pines, Atlas blue cedars... Designed by Jean Camand, the garden boasts an excellent children's play area - well, two, if you count the little hut and the big slide located high up but currently off-limits - ping-pong tables, sandboxes...
The square is accessible to strollers and people with reduced mobility: it's open every day, all year round, with opening hours varying according to the month. To get there, take streetcar line T3b (Square Sainte-Odile stop) or RER line C (Pereire-Levallois stop, then 10-minute walk), as well as metro line 3 to Levallois (Pereire stop). So, why not take a stroll through this pretty square?
