Just push open the door of Atelier Saisonnier and you're away from the hustle and bustle of rue la Fayette. Inside, you feel far removed from the cars and noise of Paris, yet just a few meters away. With its wooden furniture, turquoise-blue paint and decorative knick-knacks and bottles, it almost feels like a seaside vacation home!
But let's look beyond appearances... Joffrey presents his menu: simple but effective, and changing regularly. On the small slate, we are offered a selection of wines (3 reds, 3 whites) ranging from €18 to €28, as well as three craft beers. Two are brewed in the 91 region, and all are available for €7 for a pint and €4 for a half. As for nibbles, there's a choice of three classic boards: mixed, charcuterie or cheese. We try the mixed board, at 18€, and are delighted. Well-stocked with quality products and served with a nice basket of fresh baguette, it doesn't take much more to make us happy. We appreciate the cheese selection, with classics and originals (can you guess what's hidden in this orange-red cheese?) and the flavor of the charcuterie, which takes up most of the board.
But what we love most about Atelier Saisonnier is Joffrey's impeccable welcome. The creator of the establishment chats with his customers here and there, while taking care to serve everyone to the best of his ability. In the heart of Paris, come and escape to this cocoon of conviviality for an evening.
