In the heart of Le Centquatre's Nave Curial, Le Grand Central occupies a prime position. A full-length bar with a large space on either side for lunch, dinner, drinks or family brunches. To coincide with the launch of its Petite Epicerie and new brunch menu, we poked our noses into this place of effervescence, art and sharing.
If you've got a big family and lots of friends, this looks like the ideal place to gather the pack. If it's peace and quiet you're after, you'll have to look elsewhere. Le Grand Central is a magical place where you can enjoy a convivial gourmet break with a view of the artists in the heart of the nave.
At the helm is young chef Mathieu Cormier, who offers a varied menu that appeals to both the hungry and the faint-hearted in search of fresh, healthy dishes. Whether you're into organic quinoa and kale or mussels and cheeseburger, the restaurant has something for everyone.
For the new brunch menu, there are 3 choices:
A fresh fruit juice, a super-soft muffin, a dish made with fresh produce that's got everything going for it, and a dessert that really hits the spot. What better way to spend a weekend brunch!
Want to bring a piece of Grand Central home? Let yourself be tempted by the products of La Petite Epicerie. Between Confiture Parisienne, Dear Muesli, Chocolat des Français, Kilikio honeys and olive oils and Cape and Cape roiboos, there's plenty to make the pleasure last.
In short, it's a great way to enjoy brunch with family and friends.
