The Musée de Montmartre is home to a superb bucolic garden. The Café-terrasse Renoir, formerly reserved for visitors to the Museum, is now open to all for the summer period, for the modest sum of €5 admission (café and garden) or €10 for the year with a subscription (of course, the best deal is to return all summer). Open every day from 11.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. (extended to 6 p.m. in July).
If you're in the vicinity of the Sacré Coeur, don't miss this charming terrace in the garden of the Musée de Montmartre . Quietly sheltered from pedestrian traffic and the hustle and bustle of Paris, you can enjoy a thirst-quenching, gourmet interlude.
Take a stroll through the garden and you'll discover a magnificent view of the Butte, overlooking the Clos Montmartre vineyard.
Café Renoir takes us back in time. It is inspired by the work of Renoir. In fact, the café takes its name from the famous glass roof that inspired Auguste Renoir's Bal du Moulin de la Galette in 1876.
Le Café offers a small-scale catering menu, in the spirit of a tearoom, with a selection of gourmet products supplied by renowned establishments. On the menu, a savory and sweet selection to enhance your visits to the museum and enjoy the gardens in peace!
And while you're there, why not take the opportunity to discover the current exhibitions (air-conditioned).
In short, this is a great plan for a charming, gourmet break that ends, why not, with a bucolic stroll to Sacré Coeur, like us.
