Mamie Foodie, the start-up that showcases the cuisine of our grandmothers (because we've never found better cooks than our grannies), is organizing a brunch on Sunday, October 25, 2015, at Gaité Lyrique. On the program: tasting of various specialties and workshops!

Mamie Foodie is a start-up that aims to revolutionize the culinary world by revitalizing the cuisine of our grandmothers, who, it has to be said, are true cordon bleu cooks. That's why it's so important to pass on their know-how, by organizing various events.

Grandmothers invite you to a brunch on Sunday October 25, from 12pm to 4pm, in the magnificent setting of the Gaité Lyrique. Based on the same concept as the food market, you'll stroll from stand to stand to choose your dishes. Travel is in the spotlight, with grannies from all horizons. On the menu, Jocelyne's shark with plantains from Martinique, Angela's pork with caramel from Vietnam, or Fatima's Moroccan pastries... And many other flavors to discover... You should expect to pay between 3 and 12 euros per portion. Don't forget to bring cash, as we don't accept cards or cheques!

After brunch, children can take part in a snack and origami workshop, during which they'll learn from grannies how to make beautiful little paper birds, and hear lots of pretty stories...
