How about adding a littleart to your aperitifs? Created in 2020 by Tom Tarsiguel, Tableaux Paris is a culinary concept that imagines unique, artistic and gourmet creations. It's well known that we eat with our eyes too. And it's according to this adage that this young Breton with a passion for cheese has been imagining, for the past 4 years, veritable works of art to nibble on, platters composed of cheeses, fine charcuterie, local and seasonal vegetables and fruit, or even edible flowers.
If you haven't heard of the Maison yet, then head to Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet to discover the Tableaux Paris pop-up, from May 29 to July 16, 2024. These marvelous compositions mix colors, flavors and scents for creative aperitifs that will tantalize the taste buds of your guests - and yours!
On the first floor of Galeries Lafayette's Gourmetspace, this pop-up awaits you, with offers for different budgets, including platters for 2 to 8 people, like the Botticelli painting with assorted cheeses and charcuterie, or the Arcimboldo painting - the vegetarian version. A grocery corner, with olives, bread and burrata, completes these little works of art.
And if you can't find what you're looking for on the spot, you can always order your creation on the Tableaux Paris website. Right now, Tableaux Paris is creating an ephemeral, gourmet, generous and diversified platter in collaboration with Les Fromages de Suisse. In beautiful yellow and red hues, this creation showcases 4 exceptional Swiss cheeses - because no, cheese production in Switzerland isn't just about raclette!
Sliced, rolled and even transformed into edible flowers, the Swiss cheeses on the platter are among the most famous: Swiss Gruyère PDO, Tête de Moine PDO (the famous cheese that forms these pretty petals),Appenzeller cut into small cubes andSwiss Emmentaler PDO, rolled on itself.
Delicate cheeses accompanied by plump, orange and yellow cherry tomatoes, redcurrants, ripe cherries, Grisons meat and herbaceous edible flowers. The Tableaux Paris x Les Fromages de Suisse platter costs €124.90 and serves 6 as an aperitif or 3-4 for a full meal. A pretty beast weighing 2.1kg, order directly from the Tableaux Paris website from June 3 to 30!
