Art and gastronomy lovers, the Château d'Auvers (95) meets all your expectations. After months of refurbishment, the château has reopened its doors to unveil "Vision Impressionniste", a new immersive tour of the world of the Impressionist painters who came to Auvers sur Oise for inspiration.
If, by chance, you feel hungry after visiting the tour, you'll only have to walk a few meters to reach Le Nymphée. The Château d'Auvers restaurant, headed by Cédric Barbet (who has worked with Alain Ducasse and Yannick Alléno, his mentor), Le Nymphée aims to extend theimpressionist experience of the immersive tour.
The chef offers an inventive and refined menu, renewed every 4/6 weeks and featuring local produce. Here, everything is homemade, the products come from short circuits (meat, fruit, vegetables...), respect the seasons and are sublimated under the agile hands of Cédric Barbet. His graphic dishes and desserts are a feast for the eyes.
On the menu, you'll find fusion recipes such as Château-smoked salmon presented as sashimi, trompe-l'oeil dishes such as cod with celery, and more traditional recipes such as boeuf bourguignon.
Château d'Auvers is the perfect place to sharpen all your senses.
