Thierry Marx strikes a new blow! After L'Etoile du Nord, La Boulangerie, which opened in 2016, and Maison Dubernet at Printemps du Goût, the Mandarin Oriental Paris chef has opened an organic fast-food outlet in Paris. The name? MarXito!
This new establishment, inaugurated near the Champs-Elysées, offers a "premium street food" concept.
On the menu? The"MarXito": special buckwheat pancakes inspired by Japanese dorayaki, with a recipe created and extensively optimized by the Chef. What's inside? Organic and sustainable ingredients, mainly from small French producers.
Available in savory or sweet versions, these breads are made fresh and can be enjoyed on their own for between €4 and €13. Bigger appetites can take advantage of several formulas, such as the"Matin Express" formula at €5.50, between 8 and 11.30 a.m., with a sweet marxito accompanied by coffee or tea. Alternatively, let yourself be tempted at the same time by the"Matin Full" formula at €11, with a Marxito Egg Marx Morning (organic fried egg, sunny side, romaine, cheddar), a hot drink of your choice and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.
At lunchtime, formulas are available from €15 to €17, with a savory Marxito, a sweet Marxito and a drink. Formulas vary according to the time of day. All can be eaten in or taken away.
As for the recipes, they will evolve with the seasons: smoked salmon, beef pastrami, but also a Marxito for vegetarians with guacamole, red onions, pickles and tofu and ginger sauce inside.
For those with a sweet tooth, there's the chocolate MarXito or the matcha MarXito.
As for the decor, the two-starred chef opted for the sought-after Marseilles designer Ora-ïto , who chose a powder-pink interior. A total of 50 seats are offered over 170 m².
