Want to take your taste buds on a journey? No need to go far away! Head for Paris's 11th arrondissement to discover BoBi, the capital's new Filipino restaurant!
On the menu, colorful and comforting Filipino family cuisine, prepared with carefully sourced products (spices and condiments come directly from the Philippines!).
So expect to discover the emblematic dishes of the Filipino culinary repertoire. Among them, three signature dishes, to be accompanied by bagoong (a sautéed shrimp paste), fried garlic, cucumber pickles and white rice. :
Filipino cuisine, little known in Paris, is tinged with the Spanish, Asian and Anglo-Saxon influences that have infused the country over the centuries.
Dishes with a thousand flavors are accompanied by beverages also derived from Filipino tradition (calamansi juice, root beer, cocktails created by the bartender using Filipino ingredients) or Kapeng Barako, a powerful and subtly aniseed-flavored coffee from the town of Lipa!
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
