So to avoid ending up with an overcooked and disappointing pizza, discover the 2019 ranking of the project "Cucina Italiana Senza Frontiere". Proposed by the cultural association Medea, created by the president Antonio Castronovo, and the secretary Marcello Zaccagnini, this contest has designated, for the second consecutive year, the best pizza in Paris!
After judging many pizzas, the competition "Cucina Italiana Senza Frontiere" revealed, on Monday, January 20, 2020, the 6 finalists as well as the lucky winner of this second edition. The title holder is La Manifattura located in the Montparnasse district. And indeed, after having been there, we were also conquered by pizzas generously topped with rich flavors with a light dough. But be careful not to leave La Manifattura without having tasted their tiramisu, which could well deserve a title too.
Note that these 6 finalist pizzerias were judged by a special jury composed of testimonies of"Cuisine italienne sans frontières": Julien Serri (Academician of French cuisine, Chef pizzaiolo), Alfredo Nicolò (chef with thirty years of experience in the restaurant business), and by the chef Nino La Spina (chef de partie at Mauro Colagreco's Mirazur Menton restaurant).
