It's the ideal place to taste the flavors of Lebanon in Paris. Hommos, moussaka and tabbouleh are all homemade, so you can travel to Beirut without leaving the capital. For this guaranteed escape, visit one of the two L'Artisan Libanais restaurants, either on site or to take away.
Opened by two passionate lovers of Mediterranean flavors, Mikael and Charlie, this restaurant-caterer opened in the 19th arrondissement of Belleville in Paris, before opening a second location, this time in Oberkampf, still in the east of the capital. L'Artisan Libanais even aims to become a franchise, to share its world cuisine. The atmosphere is authentic, thanks to a sophisticated and colorful decor, with hand-painted plates and typical lamps. The menu is rich, varied and full of flavors, guaranteeing a true voyage for our taste buds.
Of course, you'll love theassortment of must-have mezzés, such as moutabal, eggplant caviar with sesame and lemon cream, vine leaves stuffed with rice and labneh, beaten cottage cheese with mint and cucumber.
You'll also find tasty, lightly spiced fritters, beef or cheese sambousseks and chickpea falafels. We also recommend a hearty plate ofarayes, pitas stuffed with cheese.
For dessert, we couldn't pass up the pistachio pastries, a staple of Lebanese cuisine. We opted for a delicious assortment of baklawas and a walnut maamoul. To accompany all this, there are pleasant teas with spices or mint, as well as a fresh lemonade, all homemade.
A true invitation to travel, L'Artisan Libanais takes us to the Mediterranean in just two swipes of the fork, where the sweet scent of sun and spices awaits you!
