Le Petit Bouillon Vavin, the lively broth in Montparnasse

On the noisy Boulevard du Montparnasse, a new bouillon has opened its doors. Le Petit Bouillon Vavin, as it's called, plunges us into the famous atmosphere of traditional Parisian bouillons, where everything goes fast: the service, always with a smile, and the pleasure at the table. More than 160 years after the creation of the first Parisian bouillon, the story continues at Le Petit Bouillon Vavin, with the unchanged desire to offer gourmands and busy people traditional, generous and invigorating French recipes, at prices accessible to all budgets.

Here, you'll enjoy the must-try eggs mayonnaise (2.10€), flavored with truffle oil, or the marrow bone (3.90€) served in the purest tradition, with a slice of toasted bread and a little fleur de sel on the side. A creamy andouille gratin with sweet cider (4.60€)!

For main courses, opt for blanquette de veau (10.80€), served in a casserole with wild rice. The meat is not too fatty, and the sauce not too thick. Fans of offal, meanwhile, will be delighted to find on the Petit Bouillon Vavin menu a generous veal liver with jus and parsley (14.50€), served with a homemade purée. Accompanied by a small balloon of white wine!
