Chez Bertrand, the French bistro on avenue des Ternes in place of Boeuf Maillot

Forget Boeuf Maillot, and make way for Chez Bertrand, the new French brasserie on Avenue des Ternes.

Following on from Chez Georges, the Menut Group presents the newest member of its siblings, Chez Bertrand, also named after the two brothers Georges and Bertrand Menut who head up this group of seven Parisian restaurants. Not far from its big brother, this new restaurant has just opened its doors and, come the start of the new school year, could become a destination of choice for residents of this rather out-of-the-way district of the capital.

On the lively Avenue des Ternes, Chez Bertrand follows in the footsteps of the Menut group: an address that pays homage to French and Parisian bistro cuisine, with simple, homemade dishes prepared with local, seasonal produce: pâté en croûte with homemade foie gras , mayo eggs, sea bass carpaccio, but also and above all a demanding selection of appellation meats like this rib of beef or this plate of artisanal charcuterie.

A friendly address decorated in the style of a Lyonnais bouchon , with a selection of beers, wines and cocktails to toast and enjoy. Shall we go and discover this new French brasserie in September? It seems that several bistro restaurants will be opening their doors in just a few weeks' time...
