While the Michelin Guide 2024 ceremony has just unveiled the new stars in its famous red guide, the guide has also revealed the new restaurants to be awarded a'Bib Gourmand'. In all, no fewer than 56 new addresses have been awarded this little pastille representing the famous head of the Michelin man.
As a reminder, the Bib Gourmand was created in 1997 to distinguish "gourmet and well-cared-for addresses at affordable prices", with a lunch ticket of no more than €40, excluding drinks, for a complete meal. In Paris, a city with a reputation for being more expensive than the rest of France, expect to pay around 45€ per head.
In other words, gourmet, tasty, generous addresses... with a lower bill than Michelin-starred restaurants. A good deal for gourmets who don't have an expandable wallet!
"In an economic climate marked by inflation and rising food prices, it's worth highlighting the efforts of (these) addresses where you can really indulge yourself," said Michelin Guide Director Gwendal Poullennec. In Paris and Ile-de-France, 5 restaurants have been awarded a Bib Gourmand 2024:
