From April 22 to May 8, the Easter vacations 2024 are already (or finally) here! This is the perfect opportunity to head off to the nearest amusement park to the capital, on the outskirts of Paris: the Jardin d'Acclimatation, , which has erected a big top for the occasion.
Usually, circus tents are not part of the Jardin d'Acclimatation: instead, you see merry-go-rounds, auditoriums, small restaurants, or at the very least, the imposing Fondation Louis Vuitton building. However, during the Easter vacations and until May 12, 2024, the Garden will be celebrating the circus in all its forms!
On the program: introductions to balancing on stilts, diabolo, Chinese plates, juggling with scarves, balls or rings, as well as two performances of the Jardin circus show, featuring burlesque clowning, juggling and balancing acts, lasting 40 min - 2 performances at 2.45pm and 4.45pm.
There's also a make-up booth, where you can transform yourself into a white clown or Auguste (the "classic" clown). Inside the big top, a number of exhibits await you: first a large collection of circus costumes, then a beautiful model (at children's height), to retrace the nomadic life of a circus, explain how the big top is set up, etc. All around the big top, try your hand at the circus.
All around the big top, try your hand at giant wooden games, such as Dutch billiards, chamboule-tout, shuffleboard, or ride unusual bikes - unicycles, draisienne, tricycle, bike without handlebars - for maximum thrills! It's time to immerse yourself in the heart of a circus during a day at the Jardin d'Acclimatation during these Easter vacations 2024!
