As part of the Fête de la Science 2024, the CNRS is taking over the Exploradôme for an afternoon of workshops, scientific experiments, games and meetings with CNRS researchers on the theme "Ocean of Knowledge".
Through a wide range of formats - workshops, hands-on activities, meetings, demonstrations... - CNRS scientists invite you, through the prism of geology, biology, sociology, geography, astrophysics or physics, to discover the universe and mysteries of the ocean.
Come and experiment, investigate and manipulate to learn about scientific reasoning, and build your own knowledge.
Mystery objects: discover everyday objects and instruments in the laboratory
Put on your detective costume! CNRS scientists will put your curiosity to the test: discover a selection of objects linked to their research and, through dialogue and manipulation, try to unravel the mystery of their laboratory work.
"Tour de science ": A magic trick? No, science! And it's not as wizardly as all that: come and discover the uses of water and the formation of tornadoes.
Based on interaction, the "Tour de science" workshops take you on a multifaceted discovery of the ocean, from the perspective of engineering, physics, computer science and biology. The choice is yours: attend a live scientific demonstration or take part in a hands-on experience!
