To celebrate its tenth anniversary, the Peninsula Paris unveils an exceptional pastry creation: the "Hespéridée" Yule log, signed by talented Chef Anne Coruble. This log, a veritable symphony of citrus fruits, pays tribute to nature and to the Palace's inauguration in 2014.

Inspired by " Dancing Leaves ", the hand-blown Bohemian crystal leaves that adorn the palace's entrance hall, the "Hespéridée" log rests on a crisp base of frosted vanilla from Brittany and yellow lemon zest. It features a hemp and olive oil cookie, enhanced by the freshness of lemon pulp. A burnt lemon and bergamot paste adds a subtle bitterness, balanced by the sweetness of a raw milk cheesecake. A ribot milk mousse lends a light, airy texture, while a delicate layer of candied Amalfi lemon, fresh lemon and lemon caviar adds a deliciously tart finishing touch. The whole is enveloped in a white chocolate and yoghurt coating, revealing immaculate lines reminiscent of the fragility of a crystal leaf.

This Yule log, both a delicacy and an ephemeral work of art, is available for pre-order from December 1, 2024, with collection on site from December 17 to 31, 2024, at Le Lobby restaurant, 19 avenue Kléber, 75116 Paris. The log costs €80 for 4 people.

At the same time, Peninsula Paris is reinventing L'Heure du Thé, an ode to the comforting flavors of winter, available from December 1 to 31, 2024, Monday to Saturday, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Heure du Thé Classique is priced at €85, while Heure du Thé Prestige, accompanied by a flute of Peninsula Deutz champagne or the cocktail of the month, is €105.
