What to do for the Journées du Patrimoine 2024 in Île-de-France? The Paris region has no shortage of great ideas for outings during this key cultural event in September. Museums, monuments, castles, churches, libraries and much more take turns to showcase the region's heritage from every angle. History, art, fashion, gastronomy, craftsmanship, medicine- there's a program for every passion during the Journées du Patrimoine. It's even an opportunity to discover little-known spots and places usually closed to the public. As you can see, in Paris and the Paris region, this event invites us to explore our heritagefrom every angle.

And it has to be said that, in addition to Paris, the rest of the region has treasures that deserve to be discovered. So, for this 41st edition of the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days), we invite you to discover the beautiful heritage of the Ile-de-France region, particularly in Seine-et-Marne , where a number of towns are getting in on the act. For the weekend of September 21 and 22, 2024,the town of Vert-Saint-Denis, in the 77 département, is showcasing its nuggets to be discovered through a program of visits and events. Follow the guide!

The 2024 Heritage Days program at Vert-Saint-Denis in Seine-et-Marne

Au Jardin terre de vert

• Visit to the Saint-Denis monks' farm
  Sunday, September 22, 3:00 pm
  

  Join us for a stroll through the historic heart of Vert-Saint-Denis.
  Starting from the Terrain du Vivier, you'll enter the Jardin Terre de Vert, where you can rediscover traces of the old farm. You'll also have a rare view of the church, which you'll visit afterwards, accompanied by Gérard Bernheim, a former mayor with a keen interest in the town's history.
