The French pastry world is well! While Jessica Préalpato from Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée restaurant has been named world’s best pastry chef in 2019 by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, another French pastry chef has been rewarded.
La Table de l’Espadon at Ritz Paris famous chef François Perret has just been awarded the award for the Best Restaurant Pastry Chef In The World, given by the Grandes Tables du Monde association.
Working in the legendary Parisian palace since 2015, François Perret worked for other prestigious hotels in Paris such as Le Meurice, George V, Hotel Lancaster and even Shangri-La Hotel Paris. His specialty? Providing delicious and very visual creations such as his giant madeleine or his marbled cake.
