A new weekend of work on the RATP and SNCF networks in the Île-de-France region is scheduled from Friday November 1 to Sunday November 3, 2024, to make progress on the Grand Paris projects, future metro line extensions or simply to keep the network in good condition. Is there going to be a lot of work this time, or is it going to be a quiet weekend? Beware of traffic disruptions and train cancellations, which sometimes need to be anticipated well in advance to avoid unpleasant surprises!
This weekend, three RER, three Transilien and one metro lines are affected. To find alternative routes if you need to travel, the Transilien SNCF website offers alternatives, with buses regularly scheduled to serve stations.
Interconnection will be suspended at Paris Nord.
Traffic is interrupted between Pont de Rungis Aéroport d'Orly and Massy-Palaiseau, and between Versailles Chantiers and Massy-Palaiseau.
Traffic is interrupted between Paris Nord and Paris Gare de Lyon and between Villeneuve St Georges and Juvisy. Fewer trains running between Creil and Paris Nord surface. Stade de France St Denis not served.
Traffic is interrupted between Mitry - Claye and Paris Gare du Nord.
Traffic is interrupted between Paris Montparnasse and Versailles Chantiers.
Traffic is interrupted between Paris Est and Meaux, between Paris Est and Château-Thierry, and between Paris Est and La Ferté-Milon.
Until November 2, traffic is interrupted on the entire line due to modernization work.
