Transport in Île-de-France: works and disruptions this weekend of October 19-20, 2024

New works are scheduled for this weekend of October 19-20, 2024 on the Paris and Ile-de-France networks of the RATP and SNCF. We take a look at the disruptions expected on the metro, RER and Transilien networks this weekend.

A new weekend of work on the RATP and SNCF networks in the Île-de-France region is scheduled for Saturday October 19 to Sunday October 20, 2024, to make progress on the Grand Paris construction projects, future metro line extensions or simply to keep the network in good condition. Is there going to be a lot of work this time, or is it going to be a quiet weekend? Beware of traffic disruptions and train cancellations, which sometimes need to be anticipated well in advance to avoid unpleasant surprises!

This weekend, three RER lines, four Transilien lines and one metro line are affected. To find alternative routes if you need to travel, the Transilien SNCF website offers alternatives, with buses regularly scheduled to serve stations.

Here are the works scheduled for this weekend

RER A

Traffic is interrupted between Sartrouville and Poissy, and between Paris Saint-Lazare and Mantes-la-Jolie via Poissy.

RER D

Traffic is interrupted between Corbeil-Essonnes and Melun, as well as towards Malesherbes and Juvisy.

RER E

Traffic is severely reduced, with 1 in 2 trains running on average between Haussmann - Gare Saint-Lazare and Tournan. No trains run between Haussmann - Gare Saint-Lazare and Villiers-sur-Marne Le-Plessis-Trévise.

Line J

Traffic is interrupted between Paris Saint-Lazare and Val de Reuil, between Paris Saint-Lazare and Mantes-la-Jolie via Poissy, between Issou Porcheville - Mantes-la-Jolie andbetween Sartrouville and Poissy.

Line K

Traffic is interrupted between Paris Gare du Nord and Mitry - Claye.

Line N

Traffic is interrupted between Plaisir - Grignon and Mantes-la-Jolie.

Line P

Traffic is interrupted between Paris Est and Coulommiers.

Line 3

From October 19 to October 22, traffic will be interrupted between Pont de Levallois - Bécon and Europe due to maintenance work.
