Transport in Île-de-France: works and disruptions this weekend of October 26 and 27, 2024

New works are scheduled for this weekend of October 26 to 27, 2024 on the Paris and Ile-de-France networks of the RATP and SNCF. We take a look at the disruptions expected on the metro, RER and Transilien networks this weekend.

A new weekend of work on the RATP and SNCF networks in the Île-de-France region is scheduled from Saturday October 26 to Sunday October 27, 2024, in order to make progress on the Grand Paris projects, future metro line extensions or simply to keep the network in good condition. Is there going to be a lot of work this time, or is it going to be a quiet weekend? Beware of traffic disruptions and train cancellations, which sometimes need to be anticipated well in advance to avoid unpleasant surprises!

This weekend, three RER, four Transilien and none of the metro lines are affected. To find alternative routes if you need to travel, the Transilien SNCF website offers alternatives, with buses regularly scheduled to serve stations.

Here are the works scheduled for this weekend

RER A

Traffic is interrupted between Sartrouville and Poissy, and between Paris Saint-Lazare and Mantes-la-Jolie via Poissy.

RER B

Interconnection will be suspended at Paris Nord.

RER D

Traffic is interrupted between Paris Nord and Paris Gare de Lyon. Fewer trains running between Creil and Paris Nord surface. Stade de France St Denis not served.

Line J

Traffic is interrupted between Paris Saint-Lazare and Mantes-la-Jolie via Poissy, and between Sartrouville and Poissy.

Line K

Traffic is interrupted between Paris Gare du Nord and Crépy-en-Valois.

Line N

Traffic is interrupted on the Dreux, Plaisir-Grignon and Mantes-la-Jolie routes. In view of the extent of the damage to the trackside of line N, work is being carried out between Fontenay-le-Fleury and Saint-Cyr.

Line P

Traffic is interrupted between Paris Est and Meaux, between Paris Est and Château-Thierry, and between Paris Est and La Ferté-Milon.
