This Thursday, March 23, 2023, thousands of demonstrators decided to join, or continue, the protest movement against the pension reform. According to the majority union of primary school teachers, SNUipp-FSU, entire schools are on strike this Thursday. Thus,"at least 140 schools out of 645" would be closed in the capital and "70% of teachers in the academy" on strike.

Unlike other universities such as Nanterre or the Sorbonne, Assas University has very rarely been subject to blockade attempts by its students. But this Thursday, a blockade is underway, for the first time in its history. Many Parisian high schools are also blocked, with the support of some teachers and parents.

Since 9am, demonstrators have been blocking road access to Terminal 1 at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport, on the call of the CGT Roissy CDG Airport union, forcing hundreds of travelers to reach their terminal on foot. Flights could be cancelled or delayed during the day, as at Orly airport, but access to the terminal should be possible again in the afternoon.
