Like every year, the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah is accompanied by public lighting of hanukiahs, the traditional eight-branched candlesticks of this winter celebration. Find out when and where the public lighting takes place in Paris and the Île-de-France region for this 2024 edition.

This year, the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah runs from December 25, 2024 to January 1, 2025, and as every year, Jews around the world light a new branch of a candlestick that contains eight candles, called a hanukiah, topped by a ninth, the chamach. Every evening, at dusk, a new candle is lit for eight days.
