Following a decision by the Préfecture de Police de Paris, the Bercy bus station, will not be served, in either the arrivals or departures direction, from July 26 to August 11. Indeed, from Friday 26 - the day of the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Games - the region's largest bus terminal will be completely emptied of coaches and other long-distance buses.
Located next to the Parc de Bercy, just a few minutes' walk from theArena Bercy, now an Olympic venue to host basketball, trampoline and artistic gymnastics events, the bus station will be unable to provide service due to blocked access in Paris and traffic restrictions. So, instead of being able to pick up passengers and drop off others at the station at 210 quai de Bercy, the arrival and departure point for long-distance buses has been moved to avenue Daumesnil in Vincennes.
While the ephemeral stop will continue to be served by public transport (you'll have to get off at the Château de Vincennes station on metro line 1), bus departure and arrival times will remain unchanged, and buses will leave at the same time from avenue Daumesnil as the original time shown on passengers' tickets.
Please note, however: on Friday July 26, the day of the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, bus routes will exceptionally depart from and arrive at 112 avenue de France, in the 13th arrondissement.
Plans are provided by the bus companies concerned, including Flixbus and BlablaCar Bus.
