This autumn, RER B users will have to adapt once again. Due to modernization work, RATP is announcing traffic disruptions on several sections of RER line B.
" This autumn, work resumes on RER line B, to maintain, modernize and prepare for the arrival of future trains ", warns the Régie autonome des transports parisiens on its website. Specifically, work will resume first between Châtelet - Les Halles and Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2-TGV / Mitry-Claye. On this route, traffic will be interrupted from September 30 to November 8, 2024, in the evening from 10:45pm, except on October 1, October 25 and November 1.
Another closure announced by RATP on RER B? Between Denfert-Rochereau and Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2-TGV / Mitry-Claye, trains will not run in the evenings, from October 21 to 24 and again from October 28 to 31, 2024.
Interconnection will be suspended all day at Gare du Nord from October 25 to 27, November 1 to 3 and November 23 to 24, 2024,

Traffic will be interrupted between Châtelet - Les Halles and Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2-TGV / Mitry-Claye, from September 30 to November 8, 2024 at 10:45 pm, except on October 1, October 25 and November 1. "Substitutions will be made to serve all stations," announces RATP.
Traffic will be interrupted between Aulnay-sous-Bois and Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2-TGV, for the entire weekend of October 12 and 13, 2024. Replacement buses will serve all stations on the interrupted section.
Trains will not run between Denfert-Rochereau and Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2-TGV / Mitry-Claye, from October 21 to 24 and from October 28 to 31, 2024, from 10:45 pm. To help you with your journey, RATP has announced the introduction of a replacement bus service between Fort d'Aubervilliers and Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2-TGV/Mitry-Claye:"To reach the stations between Gare du Nord and Denfert-Rochereau, please use the regular metro and bus lines", warns RATP.
From October 25 to 27, November 1 to 3 and November 23 to 24, 2024, please note that interconnection will be suspended at Gare du Nord throughout the day. You will therefore need to change trains at Gare du Nord if you wish to continue your journey. This will take place between the underground and surface tracks. "For Friday October 25, we strongly recommend that you postpone your journey", says RATP.
From November 9 to 11, 2024, traffic will be interrupted between Denfert-Rochereau and La Croix de Berny/Robinson. Two replacement buses will run in both directions: an omnibus shuttle from Denfert-Rochereau to Bourg-la-Reine, and a direct shuttle from Porte d'Orléans (accessible from Denfert-Rochereau via metro line 4) to La Croix de Berny. Buses 192 197 and 394 will also be reinforced.
Finally, the Orlyval shuttle will not be running from November 9 to 11, 2024 inclusive.
