While the celebrations of the champions are in full swing, to finish off these Paris 2024 Games in style, here's the rumor spreading, notably by numerous journalists and France 2 hosts, live, as to the raising of the cauldron for a final time, this evening. What's the latest? We give you the lowdown!

How to end the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in style... ? With a celebration of our champions, of course. And so, on Saturday, September 14, 2024, a final ceremony was held in the form of a parade of athletes down the Champs-Élysées, marking once and for all the end of these Paris Games that will have thrilled billions of people around the world, and in particular the French. The ceremony continued with the presentation of medals (Order of Merit and Légion d'Honneur), followed by a concert opened by Victor Le Masne and his"Parade", a real hit since the Games.

And there are also whispers that the Olympic and Paralympic cauldron could also rise for a final time as part of its Games. So what's the latest? No information has yet been confirmed, although France 2 journalists and presenters have been teasing it all day... But the cauldron did rise, as Nagui announced live during the concert.

If you're in Paris now (not in five minutes, now!), turn towards the Tuileries and you should see it! An illuminated vasque too, but slightly different, in the colors of the French flag, blue, white and red. A vase that could also remain part of the Parisian landscape, an announcement to that effect being expected from the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, shortly. So let's take advantage of this evening to admire the cauldron one last time!
