For this year's Nuit des Musées, the Musée de l'Outil, located in Wy-dit-Joli-Village in the Val-d'Oise, invites you to enjoy special events this Saturday, May 17, 2025. Here's the program for this 21st edition.

How about a visit to the Musée de l'Outil - Collection Claude et Françoise Pigeard for the Nuit des Musées 2025? Located in the heart of the Val-d'Oise, in Wy-dit-Joli-Village, the museum is offering a free nocturnal tour for the 21st edition of the event, to discover a collection of tools and utensils characteristic of the folk arts and traditions of the Vexin region.

From the remains of a Gallo-Roman seaside resort to Claude Pigeard's forge, visitors are invited to enter the heart of the history of the region and of this establishment hosting workshops, guided tours and events. Lovers of green walks can also take advantage of the museum's pretty, medieval-inspired gardens, bathed in a bucolic atmosphere.

Today, the museum and gardens provide a sumptuous setting for theatrical and choreographic performances, concerts, film screenings, exhibitions and artist residencies. Visitors can also take advantage of touch-screen tablets to digitize information and simplify access. In short, a great place to learn all about the tools and their functions!
