For the first time in a century, the Olympic Games return to the capital. And while it's said that Paris is usually a party, in the run-up to this historic sporting event, the celebrations in the City of Light are more intense than ever. In the run-up to the official launch of this iconic competition, the Olympic flame has been criss-crossing France before arriving in Paris. And once again, it's time to mark the occasion!
As part of the Coca-Cola Music Tour, and to celebrate the passage of the Olympic Flame through Paris, a free concert awaits Parisians of all ages on the Place de la République on Monday July 15, 2024 from 8pm. The program features a star-studded line-up: Jain, famous for her song Makeba, Ofenbach, a key French group, and Mentissa, a Belgian artist who made her name on the 10th season of The Voice. Together, they will be waving the Olympic flame at the concert.
Access to the concert is by reservation only. A total of 30,000 people will be able to attend the event. To do so, download the coca-cola application (organizer of the event), select the "concerts" header and click on the free ticketing link. This will redirect you to a third-party website with a registration form for booking. You'll then receive an e-mail confirmation, which you'll need to present on the day, along with your ID.
In parallel, on July 14 and 15, 2024, on the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville, a 300m2 ephemeral festive village awaits you from 3:30pm to 7:30pm with a musical atmosphere and entertainment "including the Relais torch to take photos on a photobooth".
