Lovers of table tennis, athletics, breakdance, horse riding, beach volleyball and skateboarding are all smiling! This summer, Paris will be living to the rhythm of the Olympic Games, from July 26 to August 11, 2024, followed by the Paralympic Games from August 28 to September 8, 2024.
In a few figures, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will feature 329 events over 19 days of competition at 35 Olympic venues, including theArena Champ-de-Mars, the Arena Bercy, the Stade de France, theArena Porte de la Chapelle, the Château de Versailles and the Grand Palais. A total of 10,500 athletes are expected on site, ready to go all out for victory and a medal.
But the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games are also an opportunity to enjoy a wide range of entertainment, including concerts.
This summer, music takes center stage at Club France, located in the Grande Halle de la Villette. The line-up includes Bob Sinclar, Flavia Coehlo, Hervé, L'Impératrice, Irène Drésel, Etienne de Crécy and Amadou et Mariam. Please note that admission to the Grande Halle is not free in the evening.
Another not-to-be-missed venue for sports and music? The Parc des Jeux. Described as a huge celebration site, the area takes over the Parc Départemental Georges-Valbon with a series of events, including concerts by Chilla, Bianca Costa and Doria, Soolking and DJ Abdel.
Elsewhere in the Paris region, Ofenbach, Magic System and Broken Back are scheduled to perform in the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines fan zone. And let's not forget the Seine Canada festival, which will be taking over the Fluctuart barge, offering concerts throughout the Games.
