Air France takes over the Palais de Tokyo with a novel concept for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games: an ephemeral restaurant with renowned chefs. From July 27 to August 11, the airline is offering guests the chance to sit back and enjoy a unique 85-euro menu concocted by Arnaud Lallement, Nina Metayer and Xavier Thuizat in their temporary restaurant.
Sound familiar? No wonder, because for their ephemeral restaurant at the Palais de Tokyo in honor of the Paris 2024 Olympics, Air France has chosen the crème de la crème. Three-star French chef Arnaud Lallement was in charge of creating the restaurant's savory menu: meat, poultry, fish and vegetarian options are all on the menu, which will change in August. Desserts will feature the creations of NinaMétayer, voted "World's Best Pastry Chef 2024" by World's 50 Best Restaurants. A selection of wines, champagnes and a wide choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will also be on the menu, chosen by Xavier Thuizat, Air France's new head sommelier who also officiates at theHôtel de Crillon and won the title of Best Sommelier of France in 2022 .
On the design side, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games are giving you the opportunity to have lunch "in the air". This "airplane-style" restaurant seats 80. Air France called on designer Jean-Marie Massaud to create an aerial setting incorporating the company's Business lunch tray. This lunch break at the Palais de Tokyo is not the only attraction offered by Air France...
From 10.30 a.m. to 6 p.m., you'll be able to access the exhibition space free of charge at the Palais de Tokyo. Visitors will have access to the airline's latest Business cabin, or can choose to visit the cockpit of an Airbus A350. Air France will also be offering an educational tour highlighting its commitment to sustainable development. Missing the 2024 Olympic Games? From August 28, the company will be taking over SPOT24, home to the "sport and urban cultures" exhibition and visitor center of "Paris je t'aime", the city of Paris' tourist office, located at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
