A 100% Moroccan festival at La Communale Saint-Ouen: workshops for children, market, concerts

Calling all discovery seekers, the Communale Saint-Ouen is organizing a 100% Moroccan festival, from December 10 to 24, 2024. It's a way of showcasing Moroccan culture in all its forms, through cultural, gastronomic and solidarity events, just before the festive season.

A delegation of young Moroccan entrepreneurs, for example, is expected to be on hand to present and sell their handicrafts - caftans, Berber carpets, natural beauty products and foodstuffs. Gourmets will also be able to sample Moroccan specialities at a large banquet.

On the program:

• Extra Chef.fe , December 10 to 24, 2024. Le comptoir éphémère Extra Chef.fe welcomes Tarek Idrissik, chef of La Cuisine de Souad, with his committed, organic and vegan Moroccan cuisine. As part of his residency, the chef is organizing a grand banquet for 80 guests (Tuesday December 17 from 8pm), with 20% of proceeds going to the NGO Greenside Foundation.

• Moroccan market "Cultural identity and entrepreneurship", from December 17 to 22, 2024, with :
• Moroccan products stand
• caftan and other clothing stalls
• Moroccan tea room run by the Collectif audonien des Voisins (Wednesdays and weekends only / no sales, only donations)
• Moroccan beauty stand (henna) (Wednesdays and weekends only)
• Salt and honey stand run by Collectif audonien des Voisins
• Berber weavings Saint-Ouen
