A young team put together from scratch by Thierry Henry, who had never played together before this competition and who finally exceeded our expectations, after a disappointing Euro soccer tournament for the first team. Enzo Millot's first goal in the 11th minute had given the fans hope, before being called to order by three opposing goals in the space of a few dozen minutes before half-time. The latter did the Blues some good, with a Maghnes Akliouche goal in the 79th minute and a penalty from Jean Philippe Mateta in injury time - an exceptional comeback that took us into extra time.
