Review:

The Lion King is a sincere live adaptation very respectful of the animated movie out in 1994. Perfect photography and special effetcs that keep on blurying the line between reality and fiction. But the movie may be a tad too respectful and has nothing new to offer in terms of the plot and it may lacks a little something to make the whole difference.

Yet, we still like to discover - or rediscover - this Walt Disney masterpiece with a sophisticated live version, characters still as touching and a 3-star voice cast. Honorable mention to the opening scene, still as moving, fascinating and cult. In other words, a must-see for Diney fans who rediscover a classic.
