Bulgarian documentaries at the Forum des Images

Si la Bulgarie m'était contée.
An overview of Bulgarian documentary filmmaking over the last twenty years.

In eight selected films, "Si la Bulgarie m'était contée" offers an overview of contemporary Bulgarian documentary filmmaking. The ensemble paints a brief but nuanced portrait of a country with a complex memory, woven from archives and legends, a country making its way between dreams and shadows.

Each film will be screened at the Forum des images in Paris in the presence of the filmmakers: Andrey Paounov, Svetoslav Draganov, Eliza Petkova, Elitza Gueorguieva, Zlatina Teneva, Eldora Traikova, Bojina Panayotova and Nikolai Stefanov.

The project was selected and coordinated by Ralitsa Assenova, PhD, director of the Meetings of Young European Cinema festival dedicated to young audiences.
