Immerse yourself in the heart of a palace, as the Top Chef contestants take to the stage this Wednesday at the Hôtel de Crillon, the prestigious establishment synonymous with haute gastronomy. This week, the contestants will face a host of challenges and surprises to satisfy the hotel's royal customers and the jury, made up of the hotel's teams, chef Boris Campanella, his pastry chef Matthieu Carlin, manager Vincent Billard and a mysterious surprise guest.
The qualifying round will put the candidates through their paces with a culinary marathon. On the menu, they'll have to create an original fruit salad for breakfast, master a classic palace technique by serving and carving a piece of meat or fish in the dining room, and come up with an original and surprising club sandwich for room service. The brigade with the lowest score in this round will send all its members to the elimination round.
In the elimination round, the candidates will each have to create a surprising cocktail piece in 30 minutes, on a theme typical of receptions held in the grand hotels of Paris. The candidate who least convinces the jury will be eliminated from the competition.
In the second half of the evening, don't miss"Top Chef: La brigade cachée", where Hélène Darroze attempts to win the competition with a previously eliminated candidate. Over the course of the episodes, the outgoing candidate will face off against the candidate eliminated the previous week, in the hope of winning the famous red brigade headline and entering the competition in the quarter-finals with Hélène Darroze.
